When Ildika and Dieter came to the USA, we were fortunate to meet them and welcome them to the USA. Ildiko gave me a basket to carry my baby son Richard on the way to Germany in 1957. When we came back to the USA in 1962, we were at the Dunes with the Miesler family, and saw the family at the Pfaff/Pfeiffer picnics in Naperville. It was always nice to see Ildiko and speak a little German, although she wanted to learn English to help her children and to become a full American. When the Miesler family moved away, we lost track but Ildiko and I spoke now and again on the phone. She will be missed. (I am Ildiko's second cousin through the Pfeiffer family).

Hi Sweet Mama.... I hold so many loving memories of you in my heart. Whenever I see the moon, I immediately think of you just like we always talked about. I miss you and think of you every single day... Love you forever, dear Mama...xoxoxo. Kiki

I'll miss her infection enthusiasm for the world around her.
The passionate love she had for all her children that will live on, though all of us will miss hearing her sweet voice on the phone.
She was a most amazing mother. With every day I appreciate more and more how incredibly fortunate I was to have this wise, loving woman as my mother.

Oh my sweet, dear Mama...
How we all miss you dearly already. We will alway carry you in our heart. When I see a little flower peeking through the concrete... when I see a beautiful sunrise or sunset... when I hear classical music... when I see a tiny baby... when I see a beautiful big tree... when I see city lights at night... I will always think of you because you taught us to appreciate that and so much more.
You once told me to never stop talking to you and that we will always stay connected by looking at the moon. Beautiful, Mama.. I will do that forever, just like you said I should.
Thank you for being a loving, smart and wonderful Mommy!!!
Szeretlek, Anyukam....Liebe Dich Meine Mama....Love you always, Mama. Immer Deine Kiki.
