Hi Mrs. Poole,

We learned of Ira's passing from the news, and we're deeply saddened. We we're some of the very first members of Shoreline Christian Center and had known Ira very well in the early days of the church. Elaine and I extend our deepest sympathies to you and you're family at this time. God Bless you,

Mrs. Poole, I went to high school with Ira, he was a great friend then and a wonderful person. It is so good to know that people don't change. I am so sadden by your loss as well as our communities. You always wonder what happens to your classmates and just hate it when you hear such sad news that they have joined our Lord in heaven but so happy that he is in no pain, I wish that i had kept up with Ira as well as a lot of our Reagain High School classmates. We shouldn't meet at funerals. Ira...

To the family,
I am sorry to hear of your loss.
We were classmates at Reagan and he was truly a outstanding person.
God will give you strength during this time.

Gone too soon! I have known Ira since we were toddlers and I have the photo to prove it. My mother, bless her heart, had a HUGE party for my first b-day and myself and at least ten other toddlers are all posed and poised for the camera and there is Ira, being consoled by an older cousin of mine while he is seen throwing a fit! He was not a happy camper in that photo! We have such little time on this Earth and memories such as those are truly precious. Please know that his family has my...

Dear Family, Friends & Loved Ones,

Please accept my deepest condolences.

My late husband Emmett Smith, who passed away earlier this year -
www.caringbridge.org/visit/emmettsmith
also worked with Ira at KBVO.

My husband was one of the guys who repaired and maintained all the broadcast and transmitting equipment to keep the station on the air, while Ira went out and racked up all the sales for the station so the bills could get paid.

Wray Plicque and family may God give you the strength and peace during this sorrowful time. My prayers go out to each one of you, Cathy Leal

I knew Ira when he was married to Lisa.
I am so sorry. He was a great man and a dedicated father. I know he will be greatly missed by many. My sympathy to the family.
