Not sure what to say?

My father greatly admired Ira. He was a very interesting soul who had a midas touch and did it with style.

Helen, I was sorry to read of your father's death in the Miami Herald. My father always admired your father's cleverness in business and interesting life. It was by chance that I opened to that page on that day. It's been so many years since we spoke, but you were a large part of my childhood, with the Brownies and high school, that you are fondly in my thoughts.

Grandpa i will forever be grateful for the time i was able to spend with you and the legacy and family name you left behind. I admire you deeply, love you the most and know that God has restored you to greatness in heaven where we are all bound. You are in my daily prayers and i think of you often, your presence and your warmth will forever surround me. Job well done. Adios Amigos. Vaya Con Dios. Your my dads dad and his best freind. That means the world to me.

Shirley, Ann, and Irene -- My family and I send our condolences to you -- three gracious ladies, of whom I have very fond memories.
Love,
Carrie Horwich

Shirley, Ann, Irene, and the rest of the family - I guess I met the Randall family over 40 years ago. I feel lucky to have known all of you over the years, and my thoughts are with you.
With much love,
Madelon

To my father not by blood but by choice. Thank you for teahcing me self reliance and that intellectual curiosity is vital to a beautiful life...we will miss you. To all Ira's children from earlier years, Maxwell (23) and Ira (16) are beautiful young men and Im sure they would love to hear from all of you. Contact me if you'd like to talk with them at [email protected].

To Ann and Irene and Mom Shirley. I saw the obituary today in the L.A. Times. It was an unusual coincidence for me to even see it at all. Sorry for your loss. I remember your dad Ira from the days in the Hollywood Hills and hanging out with Irene and Ann in junior high. My mom and Shirely used to go to Las Vegas together in those years. Hope eveyone is well.

We will miss Uncle Ira's telephone calls and optimistic view of life, and what a life he had doing things others can only dream of.
From Grove Street to Mexico, Monaco, Spain, Texas, and California, maybe where he is now is just another stop. Did he drive there?
He lived a full and colorful 95 years.
We'll miss him.
