Irene was a wonderful person and I will always have fond memories of her, especially when she came to see me in NYC for my BV competition in 1990. Im so happy I have so many great photos with her to treasure. She was a great Mom. I loved when she talked about her boys! And Uncle Mike she adored you. You were such a wonderful couple and great role model for couples. You both always were so happy. My only wish....I wish I had got to spend more time with her these...

As you know, it was at St. Augustine's Church in Hartford, CT, that I first met Irene, when she joined the Choir, where my husband Sal and I both sang (and where we met!).
