What a lovely woman. I was a court reporter in Judge Duffy's court and knew him well, so when he died I sent her a note of condolence and particular sorrow that this old friend's life had been stolen by covid. She wrote me such a sweet, heartfelt thank you - never knew me, just so nice. Our thoughts and sympathy now are with their children and grandchildren.

Irene and I were classmates at The College of New Rochelle and friends for more than 70 years. We visited one another in New York and California, and I have so many happy memories of the times we shared with our New Rochelle friends.
