Ms. Michalek was like a second mother to me; she was always tender and kind. She always made me feel welcome in her home - which is a very good thing since I was there more than I was at my own home! Ms. Michalek had a generous heart and I was blessed with her love. I'll always remember her raspy laugh and her happy disposition. I remember fondly the way she called her daughters "baby girl" and that's the term of endearment that I use for my own daughters to this day. I remember how messy her...
