Iris ( and Jerry) were friends for many decades. We shared a profession, a love of Philadelphia, and curiosity about the world. When my husband Lou and I moved to the Pacific Northwest, Iris was one of our most frequent and most interested visitors. She added other side trips - her sense of adventure took her to Vancouver Island First Nation communities and a trip to Alaska. She was a good friend and will be missed. My sympathy to all her family, of whom she cared so much. wilderness.
