My heart broke when my mom called me and told me of your moms passing. My Iris (Mietzel) will always be dear to my heart. I will always remember the good times at the Orfei house when I was young and the wonderful friendship she and my mom had. I am so sad to learn of Auntie Iris' passing. My sincere condolences to Liana and Ron and their children and grandchildren. How difficult to lose both parents within so short a time. If one can find any solace at this sorrowful time, it is that their suffering is over and they have been swiftly reunited in Heaven. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.
