I met Irma when she was a drum majotte at Martin School. She married my cousin Leonel. Every time I saw her, she was very nice and loving and appreciated us very much. What a wonderful person. I left Laredo right after graduation when I joined the Navy. I retired in 1981 and settled in Corpus Christi. Tried to find family members, especially the San Miguel but had no luck. My condolences to all of her family. Mrs. San Miguel was a great friend and co-worker during her years at Lamar Middle School and the VMT Magnet School. She and Deacon San Miguel were also great friends with my parents, Matías Jr. and Esther Arámbula. May she rest in peace and may perpetual light shine upon her.
