My deepest sympathy to your family. I knew your mom and dad before I moved to Texas. Your mom and I taught together at Salem. We car pooled together. It was a joy listening to Sue. I met Irv several times at their home. They were so proud of their boys. When Sue discovered that my parents retired in Signal Mt., she told me that she and Irv had lived there in the early stages of their marriage. She jokingly said that Irv´s dream of heaven was to retire as a housewife on the mountain. They were...

We have been neighbors for many years of the Wells Family. They lived on one end of the cul-de-sac and we lived on the other end. At Halloween, I would bring my children down in their costumes and both Irv and Sue always were excited to see them. When Sue passed a few years ago it was such a sad day. She was the most beautiful person we have ever met. We felt the same way about Irv, and I know his life has not been the same since she has been gone. Sue and Irv were not only good to our...

I had the distinct pleasure of meeting and working with Irv when we were teamed together to provide technical assistance to the Republic of Armenia during the late 1990s and early 2000s. I could not have been more fortunate then to travel the world with Irv, to meet his dear wife Sue, learn about his family, and learn about his impressive career with the FBI. We shared many laughs together, told each other many war stories, and more than a few meals on "barbeque street" in Yerevan. What a...

A fine Southern gentleman. I had the pleasure of knowing him throughout my career. I was one of his Inspectors aides and he tied a helium filled ballon to a brick which was placed on an inspection write-up. When I inquired about this he stated "it he said it was too light and was afraid it would float away". At first , I was taken back but quickly realized that this was a demonstration of his great sense of humor. I had the pleasure of reviewing his book on Amazon giving it five stars. He...
