Not sure what to say?

Doctor Irving Mizus, I worked for Dr. Mizus in several different capacities. He was very kind, totally genuine and always calm. He was loved by all of his staff and patients. He was always attentive, taking extra time with his patients to learn about their often complicated medical history. Such an easy man to talk with, always calm, always caring. Dr. Mizus was the least demanding, soft spoken, genuine, understanding and kind person to work for. I had the privilege of working for him...

Everybody that I knew that knew Dr. Mizus always thought very highly of him including my father Dr James Egan. With condolence to his family and friends. Joseph Egan

Dr. Mizus was the best Dr. He saved my husband Frank Carpenter in 1981. He was kind and very knowledgeable. He listened to his patients. You didn't feel like you were being pushed out. God Bless Him. Deborah Carpenter.

Irv was the best Doctor I ever knew. Simple by most outward appearances, his knowledge and ability was like a glacier with most of his wealth of incite deep within. I was blessed to know him and watch as his skill was displayed. I have missed him as the world of medicine has changed ( deteriorated as most of our generation of physicians moved to retirement ). God bless him and his family. Thomas J McNamara, MD

I first met Irv when I began to go to Suburban hospital It was easy to see he was a gifted physician Later my partners and I were able to convince him to join us. It was a great moment for our practice. I had the honor of sitting next to Irv in our office for many years. This allowed us to talk on many occasions about difficult cases, problems with the practice of medicine, or just general topics about family and just about any topic that would come up. In case anyone didn´t know Irv was a...

Dr. Mizus was our family physician and cared for us for many years. We knew we were in excellent hands since he always found the right diagnosis and treatment. He was beyond dedicated! It was an honor to have him as our doctor. Our thoughts and prayers are with his friends and family. Love Richard and Donna Sartain

In memory of Irving Mizus, MD. I first met Irv in the summer of 1980 when I was an intern and resident at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore MD, and had a patient with a diffuse pneumonia. Dr. Mizus was the fellow for pulmonary at that time, and did a bronchoscopy on my patient. This patient turned out to have Pneumocystis pneumonia (at that time a very rare disease), and was the first case of AIDS at Johns Hopkins. At the time, we did not know what this meant, and I was constantly looking...

We will miss Irv as a friend and colleague. He was a real asset to the medical community. Our hearts go out to Debbie, who also is a friend and colleague, and her family. Sincerely, Dr Russ and Randi Rothenberg
