I still think about one of the nicest, most intelligent friends I ever knew. I sometimes reminisce with classmates I still communicate with about the sadness of his early passing. I hope all your memories of him are good ones. God Bless you all.

Sending deepest sympathy to your family. Irwin was a beloved classmate who sat next to me in many classes throughout our school years. So sorry to hear of his passing.

Having worked with Irv for at least 25 years, I found him to be a very kind and generous man who was passionate about the work that he did. May he rest in peace.

Irv was always kind and thoughtful towards me. I remember once when I was pregnant with my second daughter and I was in a heated phone conversation. He surprised me with a muffin and a decaf coffee saying he was concerned that I was getting so upset. Thats just one example of several thoughtful gestures he showed me in our working together. Very surprised and saddened by the news of his death. My deepest sympathy to Joan, Ben and Rachael whom he spoke of all the time.
