IRWIN, Dec. 12, 2013 of Elkins Park. Husband of Joan (nee Krasner). Father of Benjamin and Rachel Greenberg. Brother of Sharon (Joel) Chack. Relatives and friends are invited to Funeral Services Sunday 12 Noon precisely at GOLDSTEINS' ROSENBERG'S RAPHAEL SACKS, 6410 N. Broad St. Int. Montefiore Cem. Shiva will be observed at the late residence. Contributions in his memory may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675.

I still think about one of the nicest, most intelligent friends I ever knew. I sometimes reminisce with classmates I still communicate with about the sadness of his early passing. I hope all your memories of him are good ones. God Bless you all.

Irv was always kind and thoughtful towards me. I remember once when I was pregnant with my second daughter and I was in a heated phone conversation. He surprised me with a muffin and a decaf coffee saying he was concerned that I was getting so upset. Thats just one example of several thoughtful gestures he showed me in our working together. Very surprised and saddened by the news of his death. My deepest sympathy to Joan, Ben and Rachael whom he spoke of all the time.
