My favorite uncle. I will always cherish my visit with him in 2021. So glad I followed the impulse on August morning to drive to New Mexico and see him.

I'll miss you so much because you were a warm, thoughtful and kind person.

Dad has always described himself as "old school". I can say that the funniest thing that happened to me was when we went to the "old home place" when I was a child. I followed him to the barn to watch him milk a cow. On the way back to the house, I stepped in a cow patty and it kept my shoe! Dad always shared his wisdom about growing up on the farm and giving me tips on planting tomatoes. Dad and I had adventures as well. I took him to the symphony, to the 3 ruins, to see the sand...

We share family, long day trips, long conversations and our ritual Sunday dinners that Debbie cooked for us all. From Dallas Cowboy and other games that we watched with Truman's grandson, James and my son's Special Olympic Games that Truman never missed. Truman was always there for us.
