Not sure what to say?

I grew up on Garden Avenue and Isabel was such a defining influence for that neighbourhood. My mom, Kay Pasieka, was friends with her. I will be planting bulbs in her honour this spring. Please accept my condolences.

sry to hear you passed away, i enjoyed our many talks. ill bet heaven is happy to be getting your fresh vegetables. your friend always.

So sad to hear the news of Isabel's passing. I treasure the wonderful long letters she wrote me after my mother's death. My mother, Freda Foster, was Isabel's cousin and spent a year living with Isabel at Squaw Bay back in 1931 after her own father's death. A truly remarkable...

Rest In Peace Isabel, you shared your gift of gardening with everyone
