Isabella Janina Phipps was born February 11, 1956 in London, England, and passed away in my arms at our home in Kneeland on March 20, 2013 following a brief illness. Our last words, spoken every day of our 29 years of marriage, were "I love you". Isabella was the daughter of Ewa and Slawomir...

Isabella was a regular customer at my shop in Old Town - Yarn. She took several of my knitting classes and would often stop by to say hello at Arts Alive. Another customer and friend of Isabella's told me today of her passing. I'm so saddened by this news. Isabella was always such a warm and positive person. I enjoyed getting to know her over the past couple of years and I will miss her. I'm very sorry for your loss.

August 2012

Isabella was a constant source of love and inspiration. I am grateful to have had the privilege to call her friend. The celebration on Saturday was a beautiful tribute and I was so happy to be there. Bob, John and Katie you are in my thoughts and I hope to see all of soon.

I am so sorry to hear of Isabella's passing. She was a wonderful woman and had a kind and gentle spirit. My thoughts are with you.

Bob, I am so sorry for this great loss and keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers

Dear Bob, Jon and Katie,

I never met you escept through Isabella who loved you all ery much. I met Isabella when she was a long time volunteer at Planned Parenthood. We all followed her teaching career, her marriage, her first "pre-home" in Kneeland (the later on garage), and the births of her children. She was very especially, kind and had a wonderful sense of humor. I consider her my long time friend and always enjoyed meeting her at the gym or later when she worked fo Nilsen. ...

Isabella was the sweetest, kindest person I ever met. She always had a smile & positive thing to say. We carpooled for several years while she taught at East High and I was at Fortuna High. After I moved to England we kept in touch & met every summer for lunch with Joni Branstetter & this summer would have been our 25th luncheon. I will miss her sweet smile & personality & feel blessed to have been her friend. My heart goes out to Bob, Jon, & Katie.

Dear Bob, Katie and Jon,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. I always enjoyed running into Isabella on the road, at the mailbox or in town. It was always good to catch up with what was new and hear about what the kids were up to. She was always a delight to talk to and she will be deeply missed by everyone. All our heartfelt sympathies. Cassie, Carlos, Emma and Chloe
