Sir, I didn't know you, but I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the U.S. Army during World War II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

My sympathy and prayers are with you all at this difficult time. I had the opportunity to know Dr. Bockoven through his connection with the Department of Psychiatry at The Cambridge Hospital. As administrative Assistant to the Chairman, I had numerous opportunities to have lengthy and most interesting conversations with him as he waited to see the Chairman. He was a very special person.
