J. Michael "Mick" Connolly

I came to know Mick when he became friends with my cousin John about twenty years ago. He was also an extraordinary minister of Holy Communion at St Cecilia´s Cathedral where I was in residence back then. He called me several times when John, my cousin, became ill. I didn´t know him well but he called when my cousin died. Prayers for him.

I met Mick at Creighton University. As a "townie" we all spent a lot of time in the student center between classes. Mick was a friend of my now husband of 54 years, Mike. We all spent a fair amount of time together at school events, parties and such. Mick was a wonderful guy and would do anything for anyone who needed help. He was a good young man strong in his faith, who grew into a very kind and generous adult. Peace be with you, old friend. This world has lost one of its best.

Mic I knew from grade school and was always so kind and thoughtful. I also knew him from CYO dances. Eternal rest grant unto him and let the perpetual light shine upon him - may he rest in peace. Stella Andersen Knott
