I can't really put into words how saddened I am by this. Dr. Kim was a HERO to me, getting me through my second pregnancy (following a first terrible delivery by a different doctor in another part of the state). I can't even express how blessed our family was by his care and concern- his confidence made me feel confident. Then he got me through a scary 2 months with our third child. We all loved him, and Moses (our first child) loved coming in to see him during my OB appointments. Moses...

To my dear friend Hoon. I will forever miss your roaring laugh, your huge smile and your wonderful sense of humor. We had so many good times at Mizzou games. I will think of you every time I walk into the stadium. Peace to you and your wonderful family.

The man Dr. Kim was so warm and caring, but the Dr. he was is no more then what you wish you could have forever.. His intelligence and medical knowledge was outstanding. I don't live in Quincy any longer but it just made me sick when I heard.. I am sad that a man who was so good and caring, loyal and loving to his family and friends has left us... But he did leave some angels for us to remember him by.. We all loved you Dr. Kim.. including me.. Pamela Finney

While dropping his daughter off at preschool, he always brightened the hallway with his smile. Our prayers are with your family.

Dr. Kim was also my Dr. He performed my surgery about 7 months ago. He never once let on that he had medical problems of his own. He was that way though. He was always very concerned about you as a patient & person. I feel he literaly saved my life. I have never had a Dr. as compassionate or caring as Dr. Kim. My heart goes out to his family. He will be greatly missed not only by the medical field, but by his patients & nurses alike.

Dr Kim was an awesome Dr. He deliverd my 4th son in 2004.I loved how every time he walked in the room I was greeted with his wonderful smile. Even after I moved to Arizona I actually contemplated going back to Quincy just so he could deliver our 5th child. Now I wish I did. Dr Kim you will be forever missed and always a part of my life. A little message to his girls your dad was one of the greatest men I know and I am truly sorry for your loss.
