Not sure what to say?

Dear Hal and Kim, I was unaware of your dear father's passing and want you to know that my heart is with you both. He was a brilliant man, an outstanding human being and so very kind-hearted and generous. I have always counted myself as most fortunate to have counted him as a dear friend and mentor. He impacted my life in many tremendous ways. He will be greatly missed. Please do let me know if there will be a memorial service at some time in the future. Please know my love is with you...

You will be so missed as I enjoyed meeting and knowing you. Thank you for your friendship.

What I remember about Kirk is that he was always happy and in a good mood. Never complained about anything, found challenges always, rather than problems. A loving father, husband, and grandfather he was. How blessed we were to have known him! Blessings to you, Betty, Hal, and Kim!

Love, Mary and Steve Mengel

Kirk and I have had a wonderful relationship starting with the formation of IACI and continuing for 45 years. He was a mentor, a confidant and a partner in many endeavors. One program we received personal joy and satisfaction from was Business Week. Teaching young students about economics and functions of businesses in a free society gave us joy and personal satisfaction. I am Blessed to have known Kirk and send condolences to Betty.

I want to say thank you to Mr. Sullivan and his family for his/their graciousness and generosity and making the kid from the Flying-H Trailer Court welcome in his home. Mr. Sullivan had a profound and positive affect on who I am today.

My heart is broken. I could not have wished for a better friend. Love you bushels, Kirk. Rest in Peace.

Penny and I considered it an honor and privilege to have Kirk Sullivan as a friend. He was a valued mentor whose political acumen was legendary. If you wanted to know what was going on in Idaho politics and government you talked to Kirk. Penny and I enjoyed many meals with Kirk and Betty solving the world's problems. Kirk was a true friend who was selfless in his concern for others. During my stay in Salt Lake with heart issues, Kirk would frequently call or send cards and lift my...

I am so very sorry to hear of Kirk's passing. Our paths crossed many times through the years and each time I was so impressed by the dignity and intellect Kirk projected into the small and large projects he undertook .Thank you for being part of our state and community and rest in peace.
