I knew Brooks in high school. He was friendly and kind and quick to make you laugh. I can easily imagine him befriending store owners on charles street. Johnson

Katie, thoughts and prayers with you and your family during this challenging time. God bless.

Katie I´m so very sad for you and your family. Sending prayers and love to you all. Martha

"A gentle gentleman." What an apt description. I can't say it better myself. Brooks was a much-loved high school classmate. I will miss him. I am consoled learning of the full life he created and lived, and the knowledge that he was surrounded by loving family and caretakers at the end. Farewell dear friend!

What a wonderful man. Porters were our neighbors for many years and our kids grew up together. So many memories of vacations together up in Maine. We shall totally miss Brooksie. XXOO

Brooks was a great guy and good friend in High School. I’m very sorry for his family’s loss.
