I was in the BFA Program at Memphis State with J Karen and I saw her perform one of the most moving pieces of theatre I've ever witnessed. My thoughts and prayers are with her and all of her family and extended family. Maggie Rumble Rasnick

Colette, Frank, Jr. & family, & George B. - May God bless you for the love and caring you shared with J. Karen. And may fond memories sustain you now and always.

I knew Karen in High School and I knew she would be of great importance one day and when I saw her in the tv shows that i watched i smiled to myself and said I know her, I went to school with such talent. I am so sorry to see her go but I know she is in good hands now, my prayers go up to the family. Keep Smiling Karen and the whole world will smile along with you. God continue to Bless the family.

I've followed her career off an on since I graduated from Maplewood. She was one of the most talented people I've known. Theatre, comic improvisation and radio. I loved her distinctive voice. I'll never forget her role in Ain't Misbehavin. She may never know how many people missed her.

To The Thomas Family,
Karen was loved by all of us. She was a True Star! She will never be forgotten. Panther for life.
