Not sure what to say?

I am grateful to my relative Jack Acus, because he made up a genealogical table of his offshoot. His ancestor Thomas Acus(Acewicz) emigrated from Lithuania to Egypt and later to America about two hundreds years ago. Thomas' father Tomasz Asiewicz has signed the General Confederation of Grand Lithuanian Principality in 1764. The brother of Thomas was Bartolomew Azukas whose descendants also live in America.

It was a honor to have "Jack" Coach Acus as my teacher, and my football and track coach. Although I am saddened by his passing, I will always cherish what he taught me not only in the class room, but on the football field, on the track, and in wood shop class. All of his lessons have truly been valuable. My sincere sympathies go out to all of his family.

My deepest sympathy goes out to the Acus family. Mr. Acus was a wonderful teacher. As a Sycamore graduate in 1990, I always used to sign up for one of Mr. Acus's gym classes. We always had lots of fun. He always had a kind word to say to his students and an open heart to each one of us. He will be missed.

To Lois and Denny - Please accept our condolences over the loss of your husband and father. You have our deepest sympathy.

Dear Lois,Bud & Imogene, I was sad to read of Jack's passing. We are living in Ocala, FL now but I remember the last time I saw Jack, Bud & "Uncle George" at my Dad's (Ed Breezley) 75th birthday party at our home in Morrow, OH. Deepest sympathy to you all.

Jack was part of that great running back twosome (Bud &Jack) from Lockland that went on went to star at Miami Football and continued the "Cradle of Coaches" tradition in Cincinnati high School football. Larry McVicker (Sarasota, FL.)

Jack was an inspiration to all of us - he kept trying, kept fighting, kept giving. He made the world a better place. May we all learn from his strength, his spirit, and from his example.

I offer my sincere sympathies to the entire Acus family. Unfortunately, I did not know Mr. Acus, but Greg is a special friend of mine. Greg is one of the best guys around and that has to be a testament to his family.

I remember Jack when I was a kid in Lockland. He was always so friendly with all us who were younger than him. I was a friend of Lois Henrich (who was a cousin to Jack) and lived across the street from her so I learned a lot about the Acus brothers growing up. My prayers go out to all his family. May you all feel the love and peace of God at this time.
