I am grateful to my relative Jack Acus, because he made up a genealogical table of his offshoot. His ancestor Thomas Acus(Acewicz) emigrated from Lithuania to Egypt and later to America about two hundreds years ago. Thomas' father Tomasz Asiewicz has signed the General Confederation of Grand Lithuanian Principality in 1764. The brother of Thomas was Bartolomew Azukas whose descendants also live in America.

It was a honor to have "Jack" Coach Acus as my teacher, and my football and track coach. Although I am saddened by his passing, I will always cherish what he taught me not only in the class room, but on the football field, on the track, and in wood shop class. All of his lessons have truly been valuable. My sincere sympathies go out to all of his family.

My deepest sympathy goes out to the Acus family. Mr. Acus was a wonderful teacher. As a Sycamore graduate in 1990, I always used to sign up for one of Mr. Acus's gym classes. We always had lots of fun. He always had a kind word to say to his students and an open heart to each one of us. He will be missed.

I offer my sincere sympathies to the entire Acus family. Unfortunately, I did not know Mr. Acus, but Greg is a special friend of mine. Greg is one of the best guys around and that has to be a testament to his family.

I remember Jack when I was a kid in Lockland. He was always so friendly with all us who were younger than him. I was a friend of Lois Henrich (who was a cousin to Jack) and lived across the street from her so I learned a lot about the Acus brothers growing up. My prayers go out to all his family. May you all feel the love and peace of God at this time.

I am truely honored to be the gradaughter of such a wonderful man. Although he cannot be here in person, I know he is with us in spirit. Instead of tears, today I rejoice that he has finally found his way home. I know he was welcomed with open arms.

Dear Lois and family:
Jean & I would like to express our sincere sympathy for your loss. We had been told of Jack's illness, but hoped he would have gotten better.
I remember the times I came to your home (in Harrison) to spend the night because of the snowy conditions. We would spend the time playing cards with Bill Dosch, Jack Laughlin, and others into the wee hours of the morning.
We always thought school would be called off, but that didn't happen too often. Mr Swisher always relied on his ability to get out of his driveway, and if he did, he would not call off school for that day.
Jean & I always thought of you two, and considered you good friends. We will miss Jack.
