I always enjoyed visiting ''Uncle" Jack and various family members as they worked at The Elms Restaurant in Grandville. Tender beef steak sandwiches were prepared with love and served with a smile! The family reunions at Holland State Park leave fond memories too! We kids would say, " and how many kids are Ruth and Jack up to now?" : ) Yet as a couple they handled all those children well!
