There is not much to add to Joy's post, as she said it very well. I also remember your dad's warmth and humor, his passion for the Bach Festival and for his Nissan 240Z car that he nurtured past 300.000 mile! I remember visiting and his excitement at showing us on his large screen TV his video of the Swan Lake Ballet - he was excited that he could see it in color at that resolution. And I remember how impressed I was that my uncle worked on the space shuttle for NASA. He was gifted in so many ways. We will all miss his physical presence, but these memories will continue to live for all of us, and even more memories may surface. You may be surprised to hear other people tell stories about your dad that you had never heard before- even your siblings. I continue to hold all of you in my heart as you process this loss. Love, Nan

Chris, Sharon, and Kim -- My love and prayers are with you and your families as you grieve your loss and celebrate Uncle Jack's life. I have so many wonderful memories of him. My earliest memories of him are as a young man, before he and Chris met. I used to wonder who would be the lucky woman to win the love of such a wonderful man. Of course I remember the thrill of being the flower girl in the wedding and the crazy ride in the get-away car! And I have so many happy memories of shared vacation times with both our families in Johnson City and in Florida. Uncle Jack was always so warm and loving, so smart, so talented, so genuine in his interest in people, so passionate about his music and his work, so loving and proud of his children and grand-children, so steadfast in his faith. I am so glad I was privileged to know him, and will miss his presence in my life very much. He has certainly left a wonderful legacy. My thoughts are with you.

Jack was one of the kindest, most thoughtful sensitive people I have known. It was a blessing to be his friend. We cannot be there but we mourn with you, Chris, Kim, and Sharon and your families. When I think of Jack, I will remember his smile, his love for people...and singing in the choir in heaven!
