Jack's unofficial nickname among many MHS friends and jocks was "Goodie" and he certainly was one. He was a good student leader, good athlete and good friend. I can personally attest that his skill as a first baseman saved me a ton of errors on many of my poor throws at MHS in 1956. My condolences to Gloria, Wally and children.

Jack was an outstanding human being. He succeeded I´m whatever he tried. I played football with him at Modesto High and he was president of the Board of Realtors when I returned to Modesto in 1976. God bless him and all his family. Ron Eneboe
