Jack will always be remembered as one of my favorite childhood friends.
I always looked forward to summers past when Jack and Linda would come visit and I would get to spend time hearing of great adventures from my older heros. I remember when Jack had both legs broke from a skiing accident - wheeling through the old house on the hill, I ran him into the door frame - just a little painful! Jack Kirkpatrick was larger than life for me. He was one of the most adventuresome men I have ever met. His zest for life made him exhilarating to be with, and I was NEVER bored in his company.
