My heart goes out to the entire McCaslin family, and will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers. I had the privilege of being Jack's caregiver for a short time, although seemed like I knew him my whole life. Hearing about all the things he accomplished throughout his life and all the things he loved to do never got old. Out of all the clients I had the pleasure of caring for, Jack truly was my favorite. What a Wichita icon.
I remember Jack taking Hank and I to McCaslins five and dime and seeing all the wonderful toys and fun things piled in the storage areas. Jack was always sure to see that we went home with something. I always thought he might be Santa in disguise.
Shelley and I would try to get invited over to swim occasionally by peeking over the fence to get Irene or Jacks attention. Of course all the neighborhood kids did the same. I don't know how they dealt with the...

As so many of us that grew up on Perry, Coolidge and Riverlawn, the McCaslin family holds such a dear place in our hearts. Holly, Mindy, Hank and families, we treasure your family and our fond memories. As others have stated, we now rejoice in the fact that Jack is with April and Irene again, but we also grieve with you at your loss. And, we know that they will always be with you.
