Jack R. McGrath

Like Paul Pinkney (was Miles your older brother?), I too learned computer programming from Jack McGrath in high school. I went on to receive a B.S. in Computer Science from CSU. Mr. McGrath was definitely one of the most supportive and memorable teachers at Broomfield High School. I thank him for the generosity of his time and effort; it made a big difference in my life. Jack McGrath provided the foundation for my career. I had begun programming at a young age on a Commodore VIC-20, and fortunately for me, when I entered Broomfield High School, Jack was there to teach me all sorts of programming languages, even teaching me outside school hours. He even helped me get my first programming job. He was willing to help anyone who would help themselves. He was kind, friendly, funny, dedicated, and oh-so-knowledgeable.
