Not sure what to say?

Mr. Meyers you took me under your wings and made something out of me. A young Black man from overtown Miami, we showed them . You will always be remembered Mr. Jack Lee Meyer. Miss you, Thad Deas

My uncle, Jack Meyer, taught me to stow my lines and keep them tight - but ready to use at a moments notice. As in sailing, Jack lived his life that way. You always knew he was prepared and ready for what may come. I will miss this wonderful, kind and thoughtful man. All my love to you Aunt Nina, Gwen and Steve and the whole family.
Love, Merrill Johnson Horner

Thank you Uncle Jack for the Benn Gunn and the many wonderful experiences we had sailing on Biscayne Bay. We love you Aunt Nina, Laura, Scott, James and Hannah

I always remember Jack for his calm demeanor, patience and his ability to teach others. Early on....... when I started my BK career, Jack thought me to be flexible. He told me once........."Pete sometimes you need to give up a little to get you want" This was so true........

My sincere condolences to the whole Meyer family.

Jack was a true gentleman and a pleasure to know. My sympathy to his family.

You gave to me a wonderful husband that you raised with loving care. Thank you. I will miss you Papa. Your daughter in law. jeanette

Jack was a man of pure honesty and integrity. Easy to respect and admire. Never, ever heard a negative word spoken of Jack. Condolences to the entire family. I am glad to have known him and worked with him.

My wife Nina and I got to know Jack and Nina through our work on the Miami Marine Stadium. Of course if it was not for Jack's brilliant work-which is now being recognized worldwide-we would not be in a position to save the Marine Stadium.

But more than that, my Nina and I really had a chance to appreciate what a fine and honorable person Jack was. The four of us have spent some great time together and we'll always remember Jack.

Jack taught me many things during the 10-years that we worked together. He taught me patience and to focus on those things you hold most dear, your family, your integrity and the quality of your work. He was a wonderful person and I will always be grateful to have known him. My best wishes to Nina and the family.
