Jack Norman Ost

I miss Jack. We first met when we both played in the Faculty Five at Indiana University. We had played together in various ensembles performing both in clubs and in many different homes of the many jazz aficionados who resided in Bloomington. In recent years, Jack was unable to play anymore, but we spoke regularly about his knowledge of the jazz scene in Indiana (historical and contemporary) mixed with discussions about food and politics.
