Jack Robert Rhodes, Sr., age 77, of Powell, passed away November 11, 2017. He was a faithful member of West View Community Church and retired from the United States Postal Service after 30 plus years of dedicated service. Jack was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cas & Mary Ruth Snodderly; brother, Gary Robinson. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Anna Rhodes; daughter, Lisa Davis and husband Kenny; son, Jack Robert Rhodes Jr. and wife Leslie; grandchildren, Travis Davis and wife Jaime, Katie Wilburn and husband Anthony, Morgan Wiseman and husband Phillip; great-grandchildren, Natalie Davis, Parker, Kent & Knox Wilburn; sisters, Kathy Snodderly, and Susan Cox and husband Bo; special children, Anthony, Matthew, and Whitney Sturgill, Patricia and Shaun Kelliher, and Aaron Lanham. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to West View Community Church, 3224 Joyce Avenue, Knoxville, TN 37921. The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 pm, Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel, with funeral service to follow at 7:00 pm. Rev. Rick Hutchison officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 am, Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at Lynnhurst Cemetery for an 11:00 am graveside service. Anna Lee and family,
I was so sorry to hear about Jack. I remember all our days in high school together and what a character he was. I always loved Jack. I am thinking and praying for all of you.

So sorry for your loss. We have many fond memories of time spent with Jack and Anna Lea in their home and at church. They took young, married couples under their wing and guided them as young Christains. Thanks for loving us! Claude and Rita Key
