Jack Setnan

Jack Setnan of Des Plaines Funeral services for Jack Setnan will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, at the Oehler Funeral Home chapel, 555 Lee St., Des Plaines. Born May 9, 1929, in Chicago, he died Saturday, Oct. 5, 2002, at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge. Interment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Arlington Heights. Mr. Setnan was employed in sales for Heinz Foods for 34 years. He was a 44-year member of Trinity Lutheran Church, a member of the church bowling league and a coach for the church softball team. He was also a former Little League and Pony League coach at South Park. Jack was a member of the Des Plaines Elks and the Elks mixed bowling league. He was the beloved husband of the late Mildred Setnan (nee Pulkos); loving father of Brian Setnan of Gary, Ind., Jack II (Julie) Setnan of Palatine and Lori Setnan of Mount Prospect; proud grandfather of Matthew; and dear brother of the late Roland (Marilyn) Setnan. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, 675 Algonquin, Des Plaines, IL 60018.
