you don't know me but I felt I needed to write when I found the article about Jonathon. We also lost a boy August 15 of 2006 in the same sort of accident that you lost Jonathon in. I just returned from vacation and was shocked and crushed to hear about your loss of Jack. My heart aches for all of you. He was such a handsome, funny and happy guy. We are deeply sorry for your loss. I feel Pat was there to meet him in heaven. Love to all of you from the Croses.

Dear Waldrup Family,

We are so sorry for the loss of Jack. Our family was at the beach when the accident occurred and two of us were steps away at the sand dunes. The two of us rushed to help with the rescue efforts and we all stood vigil until the end.

We think of you often and wish you strength in the weeks ahead. We hope you are able to find comfort in your happy memories of Jack.
