I just learned of Jack's passing. He was a great friend to me when I moved to Chicago in 1983. We remained close until I moved to Cleveland for a job change in 1987. Funny, intelligent and love for life ... that was the Jack I will always remember. His devotion to Michigan football was epic. I remember watching with him Auburn play Michigan in a 1983 Bowl Game.
