Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry for your loss. My son is also Autistic. I am blessed everyday to have him in my life. Jake sounded like a beautiful man.

Though I didn't know Jacob personally I have met his parents and brother and my heart is heavy for the tremendous loss they are facing right now. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers and I pray that your memories of your beautiful son and brother bring you comfort in these unimaginable times. With love and condolences to his family and friends and hoping to give support in any way I can. Stay strong ❤

Your family is in my prayers.

I was very touched to read this celebration of Jake's life. I can't imagine the pain, but was thankful to read of your faith, and I pray that it will sustain you through the times of darkness and grief until the sharpness of your suffering is more permanently tempered by the blessings of the time you spent together. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Sincerely, Phil Low

Thinking of all of you at this moment of grief. May Jakes memory be a blessing to you and all who love him

Im a friend and former co-worker of Jakes mom, Jenn. It saddens me that I never had the honor of meeting Jake. After watching todays memorial service, its abundantly obvious what a special young man Jake was and how many lives he touched with his kindness, compassion, humor and presence. Jenn, Steve and Owen, words cant adequately express how incredibly sorry I am for you all and your extended family. I pray for your strength and that all the wonderful memories of your amazing son will bring...

Jake and I at Greenbelt Metro Station, 5/4/2019.

Jake was one of the most absolutely stunning people I got to meet in my whole life. Though I only knew him for approximately two years, the impact he made on me is one I won't forget anytime soon. Jake and I enjoyed exploring the world around us, and we both enjoyed riding the local Metro system. There's so much good I can say about Jake that I could speak about him for hours. R.I.P. old friend, you will be missed.
