Pete Eggers and the entire Eggers family provided a home away from home when I was an exchange student in Osterhever during 1986-87. While they weren´t my formal host family, I would never had survived that year without them. Pete always had a smile and a twinkle in his eye. He was a hard worker and kind soul.
