Jacob R. Hemmingsen

Jacob popped into my mind today. I think about him often, whether it was on my baseball team (I remember him being the best pitcher and hitter on the Cardinals!) or if it was making music during high school times. The memories I have are nothing but good. I miss his antics and sense of humor the most.

The one year anniversary of the accident comes today. This year has been difficult and yet you would be proud to see the strength and courage that your loved ones have shown. We do not know what tragedies will occur and yet we will face them as surely as the rising of the sun. God doesn't leave us alone but He knows we suffer. We are truly sorry for your loss, it is evident that Jacob was an outstanding young man and we regret not getting to know him. We share in Tom and Sharon's pain from an Uncle and Aunts point of view but cannot even imagine your pain from a parents view.
