Richard, I was so sorry to hear this. Our sincere sympathy to you and all of Jacob's family. May his spirit soar. Margaret and Dennis Bowman

I was first inspired by Jacob some 17 years ago, and continue to be so today, clearly along with many others. Being able to smile and laugh in the face of adversity is how I will remember him. Jordana & Gareth and Richard & Heidi and families have all done so many things and committed so much of themselves to help Jacob overcome the numerous challenges he encountered on his journey. The courage of Jacob and his family helped advance scientific and medical discoveries, an everlasting legacy...

Jacob's life shined and inspired everyone. Many were lucky to meet him in person and shared his love and joy for life and many others read about his courageous journey and his family' s battle to find a cure for Canavan Disease. Our heart is heavy with sorrow. We are grateful to have shared Jacob's journey since the beginning and honor the strong legacy that he left behind. He will be remembered for his and his family's great contribution to Canavan Disease long after he is gone. He will...

R.I.P. Jacob ... soar high with your new wings. Sincerest condolences to the families from Alyssa Mushin's grandparents.

Though I never met your handsome Jacob, his light will continue to grow and shine in many other Canavan children and young adults. My deepest condolences to you all. I am sending healing vibes and prayers in this time of loss. May his legacy live on forever!

Jacob, I see your bright light in Liam and your spirit will inspire us everyday. Thank you for being an inspiration sweet boy. Sending love.

My heart goes out to you as I remember the early days and hospital follow ups to the research we all participated in, the trip to Washington and the early NTSAD conventions. May you be comforted among the mourners of Zion, Baruch Dayan HaEmet.
