Drayer (Hendricks), Jacqueline

Jacqueline (Hendricks) Drayer, born November 24, 1927 to Orville and Etta Mae Hendricks, passed away January 9, 2025. Preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, James C Drayer Sr.; daughter, Kathy Carraher; granddaughter, Molly Carraher; sister, Marty Shephard; brothers, Dick and Ronnie Hendricks. Survived by son, James Drayer Jr. (Pam); son-in-law, Frank "Skip" Carraher; brother, Dale Hendricks (Carol); sister-in-law, Ann Drayer; grandchildren, Andrew Carraher (Kelly), Amy Carraher (Nick), Joe Carraher (Jill); 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. A devoted mother and wife, Jackie was a devout Christian. Her faith and love embraced everyone. She was a lover of life. A talented and creative person, she pursued and excelled at many avocations. Above all, she loved her family and friends and was happiest when all were together. She will be missed by everyone. A special thanks to the caregivers at Home Care Assistance and to Ohio's Hospice of Dayton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ohio's Hospice of Dayton or the charity of your choice in Jackie's name. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at Fairhaven Church, 637 E Whipp Rd, Centerville, OH 45459. Funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM Thursday at the church with Pastor Paul Clark officiating. Final resting place at Hillgrove Cemetery, Miamisburg, OH.
