Not sure what to say?

JIM, WAS A FRIEND, A GREAT OPTIMIST. HE WAS COMMITTED TO BEING AN EXAMPLE TO SERVICE TO YOUTH THROUGH HIS MEMBERSHIP IN THE OPTIMIST CLUB.THERE WERE TIMES WHEN IN PAIN HE CONTINUED TO WORK FOR YOUTH.WE WILL MISS JIM'S PRESENCE BUT HIS MEMORY WILL BE WITH US ALWAYS.

Jim was a friend and epitomized what it is to be an Optimist. He was always cheerful and dedicated, and added an extra "spark" to district meetings. Farewell and God Bless, Jim.

Jim epitomized the ideal for Optimists: he worked tirelessly and happily for young people and his community, but he sought no recognition or praise - just knowing he was contributing was enough for him. We admired too his example as he fought his disease with dignity and grit. He is truly our Optimist of the Year, and beyond. See you later, Jim!

In a greater sense the legacy of the kids he helped aspire to great things as they stood up to the challenge and gave their oratory in the Optimist Oratorical Contests or signed their thoughts and words in the Communications Contest for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CCDHH). All were better for the chance they got through his efforts as a key team member to provide the work to organize...
