Not sure what to say?

DearFay, I just learned of Jim's passing doing a Google search. For the past few months I struggled to find Jim's telephone no.(Since I switched cell phones & his no.stayed behind on my old cell phone). Today, I was sure that we would be able to use Google & find his no. I was looking forward to reconnect with him. Jim & I developed a very strong friendship thru out the years. I have so many memories of our times together that I could write a book. My heartfelt condolences to you & the boys....

It's time for my next FAA medical exam so of course I'm thinking of you Dr. Armstrong! You were my first aviation medical examiner when I got my student pilot certificate in 1993! Thank you for all the wonderful years! We all miss you and your wonderful stories! You will live on forever in our hearts. I have met so many pilots since you've passed, they all felt the same way about you and had nothing but the kindest words and the fondest of memories of you. It's tough finding another AME after...

Mrs. Armstrong and Family, My name is Roger Marshall. Dr. Armstrong called me "Cousin". I just learned of Dr. Armstrong's passing. This news breaks my heart for your family. Dr. Armstrong was indeed a wonderful Dr. for all of us aviators and everyone will miss his wit and humor and good nature. Mrs. Armstrong I loved seeing you and your family when I came in for many years. I will miss you also. Blue side up "Cousin"....you will be missed dearly. Roger Marshall October 9, 2019

1964-1967 USS Holland, Rita, Spain. It was the best of times. Jim had just started flying. He frequently came aboard the ship ignoring acceptable Navy attire. When properly dressed in Navy whites you knew he was wearing pink socks. It was the best of times. Our family room proudly displays a picture with Jim and Fay having a lot of laughs in a small alley bar in Granada, Spain. Our condolences to Fay and her family. We miss you.

Dr. Armstrong, thank you for being a good story story teller and a great friend. You always had a way of making life more enjoyable through stories and jokes. I will always the person you were and how many lives you made better. Rest in peace friend.

Fair Winds and Following Seas, Doc Armstrong.
Your presence in this world will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with Faye and family.

"Stick"

You will always live in our hearts and prayers.

Dr Armstrong, thanks for 17 years of outstanding flight physicals, always accompanied with your wit, humor & wisdom. You'll be sorely missed! My condolences to Fay & your family. RIP

I ditto the many messages already made. I always felt at ease with Dr Armstrong, though he told me once I had one of the worst cases of white coat syndrome he'd seen. He picked up on my dislike for physical exams. I am going to miss him! Condolences to Faye and the family.
