I still can't believe you both are gone, and yet it seems like forever. I can't tell you how many times I grab for my phone to talk sports...or just talk. I've always heard the stories of how you soak the sheriff in the 4th of July parade. Now I've actually seen you in action. Pictures are great. I love when they come up on Facebook of you two. It is so great to see your faces and the things you two were up too. You were such young parents, I never even thought this would...

I am sorry to hear of the passing of Jim Bernhard. I remember the three of you when we were young: Jim, Pat, and Gerry Lou, and your parents. We played together and your family was kind to us, like one time when electricity was off for several days and you helped us by storing food in a gas-powered refrigerator. My brother Tom and I lived a few houses away on the corner of Thomas and Syndicate.

Pat, So sorry to hear about ,Jim. I have known Jim for a long time. Jim and ny Tom, worked together, hunted, shared a few drinks and helped each other, they were good friends. Please accept my heartfelt sympathy and hope your memories will get you through your loss. It is a difficult time, I know, as my Tom has been gone 6 years.
