To the Family of Jimmy Bland,
What a man! We remember Jimmy fondly. His smile and laughter were contagious. We know you will miss him greatly and pray God will bring memories that will keep him forever close to your hearts. We are thankful for God's great mercy these past weeks and days. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Words can't express how sorry I was to hear about Jimmy, I loved the man and his whole family. I was out of town when I heard the news. Jimmy was a great inspiration to me and my family. Jerry Monaghan and the Monaghan Family

I also remember the good old days on Harrowgate Rd. I am sorry for the loss of what I remember as a vibrant personality. As a retired member of the US Navy, I'm sad that I never knew of his military history.

I was also a member of Boy Scout Troop 178 at Ivey Memorial UMC and have nothing but fond memories.

Our families grew up together on Harrowgate Road and have a long history together. I have many fond and wonderful memories of Mr. Bland. He was someone I respected and admired. He loved his family in a way that was inspiring. My deepest sympathies to his wonderful family.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Gordon & Linda,

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. I did not get a chance to know
James well but his son Jim has been like a father to me along with his family. Linda has been there also. I am
so sorry for the lose.
