The Denver community has truly lost a pioneer in Mr. James E. Bye. His compassion and philanthropy for the underserved will be truly missed. He firmly believed in the values of the Scouting program and truly made a difference in the lives of the youth of the Frontiersman Scouting program.

Mr. Bye
The world has lost a loyal patron to humanity. We will miss seeing your smiling face at the girls games you so faithfully attended!
All our best to your family.

The world has lost a wonderful man who modeled compassion and giving. I feel fortunate to have known him and benefited from his kind spirit in what he did for me and for the Mexican Foundation Leaders Exchange Project of the Denver International Program. I will miss him.

Our community has lost a fine man. David and Anne, my sincere condolences.

God bless you, Mr. Bye.

I never met anyone who had the knowledge, insight and compassion that Jim had in his professional and personal relationships. What a great loss to the profession, the community and to his family.

Anne and David, you may not remember old next-door neighbors but my father and mother, Bob and Irene Krumvieda, send their thoughts and prayers and best wishes. I remember your parents well and we are all so sorry to hear of your losses. Karen Krumvieda Hoiland

Jim Bye was a huge gift to the Cross Community Coalition Family Resource Center, serving on our Board of Directors and offering his wise perspective on a wide range of issues and challenges. Above all we will treasure his personal friendship and his deep commitment to groups and individuals pushed to the margins of our communities.
