Not sure what to say?

My memories of Uncle Jim are many and good. The biggest relate to our ongoing athletic rivalry when I was younger. Whether it was running, swimming, badminton, etc.; it was fun. In later years, that rivalry extended to my husband Mark on the golf course. They played just each other and/or with my other Camey uncles. Of course, money was involved. My mother, Patricia Camey Hamilton always looked forward to the East Coast family invasions. Rest in Peace, Uncle Jim. Continue to work on your...

Jim was my favorite uncle. All his nieces and nephews adored him. He was competitive when playing volleyball at family reunions but always with the spirit of fun, and inclusive of all the kids. Loved a vodka tonic and Illinois apples. He loved his sisters and came back to his roots in Illinois every year that he could. He had a positive spirit and infectious laugh. He loved his wife and family above all. He will be missed but his memory lives in our hearts. Shelley

I am glad to have read of James life in the obituary. I am of the Camey's that moved from the Bradford area to Missouri in the late 1800's. Very sorry for your loss. You are in our thoughts.

I worked for Jim for many winters in the 70s. Jim was an outstanding gentleman and I was blessed to work for him. Jim and his boys became good friends, along with Jack Davis. Rest easy Jim, have a sip of Drambuie on me.

I worked for Jim for many years at Camey´s Gulf. He was probably the most influential person in my life. Jim taught me the way to work and it helped me greatly in my career. Goodbye friend.
