I played basketball at
Augsburg during the early 80's
and "JC" would always come into the
gym and give us the business. He
was a great guy and will truly be missed.

It was wonderful working with JC the past few years. We could always count on him to work his hardest and do his best so we could provide the campers a great experience at Augsburg. He will be vastly missed by us and our staff as well. We wish to extend our deepest sympathies to his family, friends, and other co-workers.

My deepest sympathy to you and your family Tim. JC was so wonderful and made so many of my days at Auggie Tech brighter with his smile and laughter. Every time I needed something for the hockey team or training staff he was there to help. He has made a wonderful impact on so many young lives at the college. I am truly sorry.

He was one of the reasons the ice arena office became a sanctuary of sorts for myself and others. He helped keep...

My deepest condolences to the entire Carey family, including Jack & Pat Jensen and their kids whom I also got to know real well while working at the arena for Jim during my college & playing days there, way back in the early 80's. He was a great guy to be around, always laughing, cracking a joke, a real kid at heart...he will be missed by many. God bless you through this most difficult time.
