Not sure what to say?

Hello, We wanted you to know that we will be honoring and remembering your loved one this holiday season. We have recently sent Care Packages to our deployed troops in his name. Each package will carry the name, photo, service branch, rank and hometown of James W. Cawley US Marine Staff Sergeant. We realize that this is a small tribute, but we do this with all respect and sincerity and we want you to know that it is made possible by thousands of like-minded individuals from across the...

My daughter Lindy told me she needed to write about a veteran for school and that she wanted to write about her great uncle James. So I pulled up some pictures and told her some stories. I told her that if he were here, he would call her "pumpkin" and say she looked just like me when I was little. He might even call her baby baby Cheem, because he always called me Baby Cheem after my aunt who he called Cheem. She thought that was hillarious. Then we printed out a picture of you and a bio...

James, I visited the Field of Heroes today in Pocatello, ID. There are now over 7000 crosses. I decorated your cross and it still hurts, really hurts. You were so special and the things you accomplished were amazing. Brady, Roth and I miss you and talk of you often. God bless and keep you until we meet again. Love you.

The Hendersonville Running Club will be carrying James's memorial in the Veterans Day parade, Sunday, Nov 9 2014 2 pm in Hendersonville, tn.

Jim, I was thinking about you remembering all the times we rode together, talking about our kids all night long and remembering all the ops we worked together. I was always so at ease when I worked with you, knowing you had my back. You are a true hero and a man of God. I miss you and wish I would have spent more time with you the last time I saw you. Rose J41

The Hendersonville Running Club will be carrying his memorial in the Veterans Parade on Sunday, NOv 10.

The Hendersonville Running Club will again be honoring the memory of James at our 6th annual Run for the Fallen, Aug 17, 2013, 0800 at Veterans Park in Hendersonville. Friends and family are cordially invited. His name was entered by our fellow runner Kenneth (Randy) Smith who served with him.

SSGT Jamew Cawley, you were lost all those years ago at the beginning. Obviously you were very respected as a soldier and very loving to family. I think about your children and pray that they are okay.
