Not sure what to say?

Met him at WONE. I was a contest winner and went to the ice capades with him. He was one of the kindest people I ever knew and I enjoyed the time I spent with him. You are greatly missed. Laurie

Saw that Bob Seger just released a cover of "Busload Of Faith" from your favorite album of all time, and thought of you, Jim.

You taught us well. RIP

I had the pleasure of growing up in the same neighborhood as Jim. We lived 2 houses up the street. We hung out a lot together either delivering papers on the Richie McCarty paper route (which would become mine), playing basketball, or watching Andy Griffith at his house.

Jim formed a Beatles band and we all wore those nasty Beatle Wigs. We performed for the neighborhood on numerous occasions without much fanfare.

My favorite memory is when Jim and I cut high school with Jim...

It has been over forty five years but Jim and I hung out together at Lincoln. I remember when he said that he was going to radio school, with his personality it was a given that he was going to be successful. So sorry to hear of your loss.

Evan & Family,
I am so sorry for your loss.
He will be missed by so many people.

Kathy, so sad to hear about Jim. We were neighbors on Grandview Ave. Mark and Jim were friends. They had a cute little band and put shows on for the neighbors. Marl lives in Ala. and Pam is in Ill. Ozzie passed away in Aug. Maxine Gunsaullus

Offering sincere condolences to your family. May God comfort you during this difficult time. Ps.147:3.

So sad to hear of Jim's passing, always loved hearing him on the radio from WONE to the Summit-he had a gift for being funny and creative. Prayers to his family and friends.
Long-time Listener

Used to listen to Jim on WONE when I was new to the area in the early 80s while doing alot of road time for my job in the surrounding counties. I changed Jobs and the radio went off for many years. I discovered THE Summit 7 years ago and became and active volunteer. Was thrilled to met Jim in person as a result. I volunteered many events with Jim most recently the last two summers in Youngstown for Live at the Morley. Great sense of humor, and a remarkable knowledge of music. The last time I...
